Practice Gratitude

Here’s how:

Think of one to three positives from your day for which you are grateful. This might be a person, event or thing - nothing is too small to count. If you like, write a list in your gratitude journal. Picture each and absorb the feeling this imbues. Open to the appreciation.

Here’s why:

Thousands of studies have shown that gratitude enhances positive emotions, renews appreciation, strengthens relationships, and builds resilience. Without awareness, the human mind tends to focus on the negative. By looking for reasons to be thankful, you make a conscious decision to appreciate the goodness already in your life.
